Testing Goldwork 371 Thread - Monet

I bought these threads on Etsy. At first, I just wanted to test them, but they turned into a small pine branch ^^

You also can try embroidering it. It’s not difficult. I use Couching Stitch and straight stitches. The image size is 5.5x5.8 cm (2.1”x2.2”)

I love this type of goldwork thread and especially I love the color.

I got the large skein of metallic thread in the photo as a gift, so unfortunately, I don’t know what the brand is.

Start with a holding stitch.

I secure the long thread tale (~1.3 cm) of the thick metallic thread with a thin thread. Do the finishing stitch the same way.
